Can be used with or without cold. If using cold and compression place garment in freezer for a minimum of four hours. After removing garment from freezer, the special substance sealed inside will maintain a constant 40°F on the horse's skin for several hours. The cold and sequential compression progresses from just above the hoof in a distal to proximal direction until the garment is fully pressurized. Following a brief relaxation phase, the cycle repeats.
